Soap and Glory

Boots Soap and Glory are one of my favourite products at the moment. Just a teeny weeny bit obsessed! From their make up to their skin care. The scents of these products are just crazy good!

I bought myself some new body washes and body milk to try. I have tried their shower gel and love it and so I thought I would try the Sugar Crush, Smoothie Star and Foamous after hearing such good things about them. Especially the scent of Sugar Crush!

Sugar Crush:

When I first smelt this I wasnt too sure about it ,the scent reminded me of something but couldnt think what it was. I read the back and it said it had Lime in and that was when my brainwave occurred,  its  Lime Emma! I dont think I was having the brightest day that day lol.  After using this I actually love the scent now and its a gorgeous scrub! My sister however hates the smell... maybe its not for everyone. It contains Lime, Coolcapsule, Kiwi Juice water and a skin softening Omega rich veggie oil.

Smoothie Star Body Milk:

This smells alot like Foamous and again following on from what I just said my sister is also not a fan of the smells of this and the Foamous! However I love the smell of these as they have Almond in. It contains Almonds, Cocoa, Yoghurt, Oat and Honey. I love that this is in a pump bottle because I find with tubs I pick up too much. It doesnt feel greasy on the skin and absorbs well leaving a nice scent!

Foamus:

This contains Almons, Oats and Brown sugar. It has a similar sent to Smoothie Star Body Milk so is great to use before applying the body milk after a shower.  I have to say though I do prefer the Sugar Crush to this.

I dont think I will ever find products that smell as good as Soap and Glory and I love how Soap and Glory will always put on the products that you cant eat them because they really do smell that good!

Have you tried these?

Hey big spender!

I had a nice big spend yesterday in Boots and New Look/Dorothy Perkins. I realised today after checking my Boots advantage card points that I have over £100 worth on there and now im annoyed at myself for not using it yesterday! Oh well I will use it another day, I have already been planning what I am going to buy with it O:).

New Look/Dorothy Perkins:

I bought 3 tops from New Look and at the moment they have sooo many nice items in! The first was a white aztec vest shirt and I discovered that I have a thing for white shirts at the moment lol! Had to stop myself from buying them all, its a bit odd as I usually wear dark colours..
I also bought a burgandy vest shirt and you cant really see in the photo but it has holes in and it is SOFT which might of been what won me over ha!
From the label lounge I bought a boxy shirt which the photo colour is completely off its a really nice corally colour! Finally from Dorothy Perkins I bought my 3rd pair of the same black skinny jeans! I love Dorothy Perkins jeans because they fit me perfectly and come in tall! If I shop for jeans anywhere else they dont fit right.

Boots:

It was 3 for 2 which makes me buy, buy, buy!

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush scrub and Smoothie Star Body Milk:  Soap and Glory just smells amazing and it does make me want to eat it lol!

Revlon Matte Balm

Real Techniques setting and blusher brush.

La Rochey Posay Effaclar which I CANT WAIT TO TRY! I have heard so many good things about this and have high hopes!

Soap and Glory Archery (Love the name) and Hocus Focus which is a highlighter and I cant wait to try it!

Max Factor False Lash effect mascara.

I will be sure to post on some of these products soon!

Kate Somerville Goat Milk

Kate Somerville is a leading skin care expert, her skincare collection was created in response to the challenges which she sees every day in her clinic. Kate helps many celebrities with their complexions to name a few are Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton. Kate created the skin health pyramid which she states is the blueprint to a healthy complexion.

Searching for a new moisturiser I wanted one that wouldn't break out my skin. At the time I was searching Caroline Hirons had been instagraming a lot of Kate Somerville products and some were now staples. I did a little research on Kate Somerville and the products she offers and thought I would give the goat milk a try. This had many good reviews and many people claimed it didn't cause breakouts.

The goat milk is $55.00 dollars (I got it shipped to the UK- it wasnt cheap!) for a 1.7 oz but it was worth the money! As I LOVE it. It feels nice and light on the skin and is keeping it nice and moisturised without any breakouts. It doesn't look shiny and absorbs well. It is fragrance free and the best thing is that it comes with a pump!! It dispenses just the right amount so that you don't use too much at a time and saves you sticking your hands in the pot and contaminating it.

Kates products are:

  • Made using the highest quality ingredients on the market with proven efficacy
  • Clinically tested and proven in the elite Kate Somerville Skin Health Experts Clinic
  • Formulated with a unique blend of scientifically advanced actives, nourishing botanicals & natural fruit enzymes
  • Prestigious award winners, such as Allure’s “Best Of Beauty,”
  • Never tested on animals
  • Made in the USA

I now have a mini obsession over Kate Somerville products and want to try out more, when you order a product/s online you can choose 3 samples out of a list to try (I still need to try my samples ).  It would just make it better if a UK store stocked some KS products or cheaper shipping to the UK! It now means im going to have to do big orders at a time to make it worthwhile!
