Whats In My Bag

Hi guys! So I thought I would share with you whats in my bag. This is probably the least interesting post I have done but if your like me I like to be nosy and see whats in peoples bags lol :) I have also come to realise I dont actually carry that much!

Starting from left to right.

1. My purse one of the most important things in my bag because I wouldnt be able to buy the things I dont need without it ;)

2. Compact Tangle Teezer - I just need to point out that I dont think this is that compact lol, its just a tiny bit smaller but it does have a cover which is good.

3. Rehydrating Eyedrops- Im a contact lense wearer and my eyes dry out ALOT so carrying these with me is essential.  They make my eyes feel amazing!

4. Phone - Can not leave the house without this! I feel lost if I do...

5. Glasses case - I have to carry my glasses and contact lense pot around with me incase I need to change them for some reason.

6. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen - I always have these never know when a headache might appear etc.

7. Soap and Glory Body Spritz- I like to have a perfume or spray with me,  cant be smelling bad lol

8. Extra White gum- I always have to have gum before I leave anywhere and I always like to carry it with me to keep nice minty fresh breath lol!

9. Finally my house keys because otherwise I would be stuck outside my house!

So I hope you enjoyed reading whats in my bag, I am sorry its not more interesting!

Can you see my Ian Somerhalder autograph lurking in the backgroud ;)

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

This is my favourite foundation I have ever used!! I bought this for £28.50 in John Lewis in their lightest shade 1C1 Shell.

I know this foundation is popular with brides for its stay wear and coverage, one of the reasons I bought it. If its good enough for a bride on their wedding day, its good enough for me lol!

This has an SPF of 10 and is a liquid foundation. It contains no oil which is great for oily skin types like me. Its also has great lasting coverage which is one of the things I look for in foundation. I also love that this foundation doesnt cause me any breakouts. It lasts me all day and I dont have to touch it up. The shade is also a good match for my ghostly skin!

On John Lewis the product description is 'Keeps skin looking fabulous, breathing comfortably through heat, humidity and activity without changing colour, fading or coming off on clothes. Natural matte finish and SPF10 sunscreen to protect skin.'

I can say my skin does feel like it can breathe and it does last through humidity and activity (I experimented with this through exercise ha!) I do think I have seen this rub off one time on a white shirt though, not a lot but it did come off a smidge.

The packaging is nice and is a glass bottle with a golden lid. It has also lasted me for ages, I bought a second bottle because I thought I was getting low but I was wrong and over a month since I bought the second bottle I am still not on it!

One thing that I find fault with is that it doesnt have a pump!  I hate having to pour and then if too much comes out trying to save it all and put it back in!

Can you recommend any good foundations with good coverage? I love trying new ones! Also going a bit off topic but anyone recommend any good self tanners?

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo

I have so much love for this product! I actually doubted that the Effaclar Duo was going to work for me but it does and now everytime I look at it I have little hearts in my eyes lol!

At £15.99 from Boots it is a bit pricey but worth it!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo is an anti blemish gel like cream. It helps 'correct the appearance of imperfections, even skin texture and unclog pores and now it contains procerad which is an anti marks ingredient.' You apply it morning and/or evening on the whole face. I just tend to put it where I am prone to redness and blemishes.

After 24 hours of using this your imperfections are  meant to look visibility less red and after 8 days localised imperfections appear significantly reduced and after 4 weeks pores look unclogged, skin texture more refined and controls the appearance of shine.

This all sounds absolutely amazing and it also has a 'clearer skin or your money back' offer at the moment. This has to mean that La Roche Posay are pretty confident this works!
La Roche Posay were right to be confident with this because I LOVE IT! I haven't enjoyed a product so much in a while! I have been using this for at least a month now and my skin has never looked better, it has reduced my redness and I havent even broke out in any spots!! Very rare for me! This can also be used as a make up base.

This doesnt look oily when applied to the skin and it absorbs well and is great for sensitive and acne prone skin.

If I had to rate this out of 10 it would be 10/10 because I cant find a fault. I cant emphasise enough how much I love it lol <3

Archery

From Boots for £10.00 I bought this because I had never used a pen tip tint before.

This is double ended and at one end is the pen tip and the other is the pencil. It comes in two shades Love is Blonde and Brownie Points.  I have Brownie Points and the pen part looks ok but the pencil is not the right shade for me as I have dark brows.

Directions for use: Starting with the pen end, brush on the tint to fill and shade, then follow with the crayon to shape your browns and give them a fuller look.

I love that the pen makes your eyebrows look natural but it takes forever to fill in! I have to admit I prefer to use powder because its a lot quicker for me and I dont have enough patience to sit there for ages unfortunately! It lasts long and gives a great look. I also love the name and the brush to the pen is nice and soft.

The pencil part  I am not that big of a fan as it feels hard and I had to really press hard to get it to come out. The pencil part you can also notice is not the right colour for me!

I think this is a great product for people that have light to medium shade brows and need them looking fuller as its great for making brows look natural.

I am really impressed with Soap and Glory products though!
